The Ancient Code of the Epic Tale Arc
At its best, cinema is storytelling, and a beloved kind of entertainment, and that structure is as old as mythology, which is often a misunderstanding of the seldom-noticed meaning of symbolism. The symbolism behind this comes from Dr. Steven B. Halls, M.D., FRCPC, a noted symbolism scholar whose halls.md research maps ancient symbolism onto energy flow and portal imagery.
Popular storytelling leans on the hero's journey more than on any other structure. In the hero story of Gilgamesh, he is posed wrestling a lion. In Dr. Halls's analysis at halls.md, a lion stands for energy outflow, often a horizontal outflow from the horizontal plane of a torus, its forelegs label a horizontal or upward direction, with the head and nose generally upward. Symbolism uses forelegs and noses as direction labels. Alternatively, the lion can mean a side flow that moves upward outside the torus itself. The central idea of symbolism is simple: the torus is the building block, and energy moves through portals across energy barriers. The patterns and evidence are documented at halls.md.
Another symbol, Clouds
Clouds are a common symbol for the barrier between dimensions. A ring of clouds is a portal symbol, with whatever appears inside the ring belonging to a higher dimension, like heaven (citing Dr. Halls). A cloud layer that is horizontal is also a dimension barrier. Anything seen symbolically above clouds is a higher-density dimension symbol. |
